Pie Pastry
Recipe: Pie Pastry
Ingredients
1 cup plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 cup margarine or Crisco
1 tsp. vinegar
2 tsp. sugar
5-7 tsp. ice water
Instructions
Sift flour and salt into mixing bowl.
Cut in shortening until crumbly.
Add vinegar and ice water.
Stir with fork until dough clings together. Can add more water if needed.
Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes or overnight.
Roll onto floured surface.
Press to fit pie plate.
