Fried Cornbread

Recipe: Fried Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup yellow corn muffin mix
  • 1/2 cup enriched-white corn meal (Adam’s)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Water

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together with enough water to make it soupy.
  2. Pour one heaping tablespoon into hot oil (canola).
  3. Fry until golden brown.
  4. Turn over and finish browning.

Makes about 10 the size of sand dollars.
