Introducing Annie Ruth, my husband’s grandmother and great southern cook. From working with the Meals on Wheels, helping out cancer patients, to walking a few miles a day, this is one strong woman who is not afraid of hard work. She does have an old car you know, but it has little mileage because she chooses to walk, (like at 78 she needs the exercise)!
See article for details and recipe for her famous Peanut Butter Pie. She may not cook as much these days but when she does you better leave room for dessert. We are proud to showcase this and many other family favorites. And, as far as we’re concerned, Paula Deen has nothing on this grand-maw!
