    Carne Guisada Tex-Mex style

This is made from hand and not a recipes so therefore please bare with me as I do not have the correct measurments.

    What you would need:
1 1/2 pounds cubed stew meat
1 (14.5 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 fresh jalapeno chile peppers, seeded and diced(not required)
    1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tablesppon of grounded pepper
    1 cup water
    2 tablespoons of flour
    salt to taste

Add the meat to a saucepan and brown well on all sides. Add the half the water, tomato sauce, jalapeno peppers, cumin, garlic, and salt and pepper.
Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until meat is tender.

The other half of water add the flour to the water and mix throughly. Once the meat is tender you can add the flour mixture to suacepan to thicken the dish.

Note: If mixture is too thick, add water as needed. Or if mixture is too thin, combine some flour and water and add to thicken.

This is best with flour tortillas. Homemade that is but if that can be done, Walmart sells tortilla pre-made dough and all you would have to do is cook them.

    Have fun
