Day 11 ~ Let me rule. Let me reign.

Day 12 ~ For my glory.

Undergirded in His sovereignty

I didn’t have the words for this combined post. The glory part was predetermined, but I let Him in this morning, and He showed up. In my all of my ugly, He is beautiful. I let Him Reign. . . .

When we were teens, we used to go around quipping, “I see what you’re saying.” in sort of a silly slang. That’s what I am feeling as He echoes my sister’s heart through this reminder. Yes, Nanny, “I see what you’re saying.”

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. (John 16:7, NKJV)

Because the Helper would not come.

Sovereignty. Plain and simple sovereignty. Would we have let Him go? Would we have understood the need of the Holy Ghost in the absence of Himself?

I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. (John 16:12-13, NKJV)

Bearing understanding. Would we dare to bear more then *He* has placed upon us? Why then would we push? Would we move beyond His leading?I am thankful for this hour. Each moment with Him. Each breath of peace beyond myself and my inner knowing. Just to know His sovereignty and to let Him reign. To let Him do His job and to simply believe that is enough because He is enough.

  • THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns:

Rise up, My people, and thus receive that which I am doing among you. Rise up and receive the power of the most Holy Spirit. Rise up into a heavenly place and no longer be bound to the earth. For, I have opened a door in the heavens. I have created a pathway for you to come. And, surely, if you walk upon this pathway you will be given entrance into the glory of My kingdom. You shall be allowed to walk in the valley of vision and the vision that I show you will forever change you. Rise to believe that you will be victorious in every situation and every circumstance. Arise and receive the power of this age, says the Lord God.

  • SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns:

Rise up and receive the strength that is found in Me, says the Lord. I have indeed undergirded you; I am your refuge and your place of safety. Come to Me in faith and obtain all that you need. I am for you and not against you, and I will give you wisdom and direction in every circumstance. Be strong and of good courage. Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say, ‘Destroy!

* Undergirded – secure or fasten from the underside

Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name. Then a voice came from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it and will glorify it again. (John 12:27, 28 NKJV)
Now we come to the true meaning in the celebration of Christmas—the purpose in His birth, His coming, and our salvation—God’s glory. This underscores grace. This redefines its acronym—God’s riches at Christ’s expense—in a way much better understood. This showing His grace, His glory, for our benefit. This knowing that all that He has, all that He does, all that He is, is for us. Not that we would look to ourselves, but to the Cross and how it’s grace benefits us in salvation.
Jesus answered and said to him, What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this. Peter said to Him, You shall never wash my feet! Jesus answered him, If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me. Simon Peter said to Him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head! Jesus said to him, He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you. (John 13:7-10, NKJV)
Oh, that He would wash us. Undergird us. That we, having clean feet, would have part in Him.
If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one anothers feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. (John 13:14-15, NKJV)
That we, in Him, would have part in His body.

So, when he had gone out, Jesus said, Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him. If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and glorify Him immediately. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. (John 13:31-32, 34-35, NKJV)

And we would love one another in the same! Undergirded, secured or fastened from the underside, in His love. {* Click link to visit Brother Randy’s blog for more. Let us come together and truly worship Him.}

Then He would have rule over our hearts, He would reign, and He would be glorified unto His own.
