Happy 15th Anniversary, Ginger! (AND Jerry!)

You may be wondering why I have been posting and not Ginger. Well, she has been sick lately. She is getting better but those darn allergy colds are a bear to beat. With that said, let me continue with today’s post.

The heck with fine china! Break our best paper plates, the fanciest plastic forks, because we are going to Kentucky Fried. It is me and Ginger’s 15th wedding anniversary! Ginger, where did I put my teeth? Since I have been married to Ginger I have really gotten into shape, round is a shape you know! Sometimes I look in the mirror and think, “hmm, my head looks like a moon orbiting a planet.” Well, you may laugh but I say it has taken me quite a few years to get this way. Thank you Ginger for your wonderfully enlarging cooking!

Ok, now on to a more serious note. Ginger, it has been a smooth, rocky, bumpy, heart-felt, interesting, wonderful, exciting, loving, angry, upset, mad, grateful, enduring, long, short, peaceful, noisy, quiet, tiresome, invigorating, road we have been on. Not much I would change at all. One thing is for sure; as our boys are reaching adulthood, I am realizing just how much we depend on one another. We have spent our whole lives around the kids and now we get to focus on us. Maybe that is the one thing I would have changed. More focus on us. Forgive me for that. I love you with my whole heart and I want you to know that I will love you more in our next 15 years, than I did in the first.

Thank you, Princess, for 15 years of putting up with and loving me.

Song of Solomon 8:7 (BBE) You have to love Song of Solomon!
Much water may not put out love, or the deep waters overcome it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would be judged a price not great enough.

Proverbs 18:22
He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.

Happy Anniversary,

Jerry

How do I say thank you? How do I say I love you?

For fifteen years you’ve shown me love is more, and today is just another example.

We fit so perfectly together, you and I. What’s a girl to say when she has it all?

I love you Jerry! You are my more. God uses you to make my cup run over.

Even if it’s not coffee and that Kentucky Fried doesn’t come with chocolate.

Besides, we are perfectly happy with our Peanut M&Ms. I’ll take mine with a Diet Dr. Pepper, please.

Happy 15th and counting . . . (even with Valentino)!

Your Princess,

Ginger
