Do you remember those Walls we spoke of a few weeks ago? Well, it’s time I get real with my own. I start by naming them and putting them against the Word.
The Wall of Fear
- Heb. 10:23
- Jer. 17:8
- Phil. 4:6
The Wall of Doubt and Confusion
- 2 Tim. 3:14-17
- Eph. 4:31-32
The Wall of Bitterness and Strife
- Eph. 4:31-32
In doing so, I come face-to-face with them, no longer allowing them to usurp their authority. I remove their reproach.
“Just naming them . . . ,” as Ann Voscamp shares of her brother-in-law’s words—One Thousand Gifts. Just naming them.
When reading the book by Ryan Rush, there was something that stood out to be through the story of Moses that I decided to address later.
The part where the author says, “[. . .] God had Moses lift his staff above his head. When Moses did, the waters of the sea parted, and God’s people were saved!” (ch. 14 p 218)
