Ice Cream Sandwich Cake—from everything to Mississippi Mud, Perfectly Peppermint, Eggnog and more… like traditional vanilla or chocolate, Neapolitan, and mint.
Say you want something fun and festive to do with those leftover candy canes from the tree, or you simply crave ice cream cake, this recipe is for you.
A friend once passed on this basic recipe which calls for ice creams sandwiches, caramel topping, whipped cream, and crushed score bars.
You simply line a 9 x 13 pan with the sandwiches. Drizzle topping over them. Top with Whip Cream and then crushed Score Bars. Freeze ’til firm and enjoy!
Imagine the possibilities of today with the various flavors out there. You can even make less or more, depending on the size of your pan. But, wait, it doesn’t stop there.
For all you figure friendlies out there, try the various low fat or sugar sandwiches from Slim Fast mint, to what ever you prefer. The Slim Fast are round and can fit nicely in a decorative pie pan.
Now for the Holiday recipe you have all been waiting for…
Layer with Perfectly Peppermint Ice Cream Sandwiches. Cover with Whip Cream and top with crushed peppermint, or WAIT, peppermint bark!
Need I say more… ? Who cares if it’s snowing outside??!! (I do, I do. Just click to view!) That’s what COFFEE is for! Or hot choco too! Put the bark in your cup, but not too much ok. BTW: I renamed this treat because it just sounds cute. Makes me think of Rena’s friend Sandy (Go check out her carrot cake!)
