As I hear the words to this beautiful song, it begins to sound more like an anthem and I can’t help but think of our Cammie and her journey to the military. (Click on her name to hear her story.)
It is a call to order, a call to prayer, a call to the nations! Join me as we stand for those in Iraq and their families, those in Corpus Christi, and those in New Hampshire. If you would like to share a special need, please do so in the comments section.
Praise Him! Worship Him! Do you hear the sound?
The kingdom is coming—Be Free!
Hear the sound
The sound of the nations calling
Hear the sound
The sound of the fathers crying
Who will go for us
Who will shout to the corners
Of the earth
That Christ is King
CHORUS
We speak to nations
Be open
We speak to nations
Fall on your knees
We speak to nations
The kingdom is coming near to you
Oh we speak to strongholds
Be broken
Power of darkness
You have to flee
We speak to nations
The kingdom is coming near to you
We speak to you
Be free be free
Hear the sound
The sound of the nations worshiping
Hear the sound
Of sons and daughters singing
We will go for you
We will shout to the corners of the earth
That Christ is King
Go forth Cammie Nicole! This is your war cry! Man your battle station and walk the path of prayer. We’re here for you and shout with a loud voice… Be Free! No matter what choices you make, He will meet you on your knees.
Share the message of your testimony, bring others to the cross and know HE is there! He can reach you right where you are and strengthen you with His joy at the point of your every need. You are His warrior.. Go forth in Jesus name!
Go forth into battle, get your gifts and spread His word!
You know, I was watching a message of Wednesday’s with Beth on Life Today where Beth Moore was speaking of battle. To paraphrase, she explained how we are to praise at the onset of battle (as we go forth as opposed to when the battle is over…). She said God calls us into battle because He wants to give us something. He wants to bless us—to bless us with something we’ve never had before! Can you imagine finding yourself on the front lines, in praise, and ready to receive where there are lessons, gifts, and blessings we can only find through the battle?
