For We Know in Whom We Believe and Rest in His Mercy

August 9th, 2008

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 2 Tim. 1:12

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved; and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.  Eph. 2:4-7

We are so incredibly blessed to experience His love through each other and share through the blessings of WordPress and other blogging formats; without which, many of us would be empty and unable to touch or fill the hearts of those we now call friend(s).  Isn’t it great to be a believer?  I know Laura would agree!  Embrace the time you have and enjoy a wonderful weekend with your family.

How many times have we all heard this, right?  I personally have much to learn about leaning on Him as my true balance and just weight.  Like the sparrow, I tend to work through the process rather than; rest in the promise, my journey to the cross helps me find my way.  The only way to keep from getting off course is to stay focused on HIM, and when easier said than done… I try to keep the Light on.

Enjoying the weekend and learning to rest,

I DO agree! It is great to be a believer! The thing I’m finding lately is there is always more to believe, more about our Father that we can put our trust in. He wants us to move forward and be fully equipped to handle all He has for us… Sisters in Christ play a big part in my ever increasing faith. I’m thankful for y’all!

    I’m a Believer!
