I totally agree with what you have shared.  I too have been faced with continuing to keep the intimacy with Christ alive by spending more time with him.  We do make it all too easy to make excuses why we do not pray more, read more, just spend time with Him in quiet meditation.  The Holy Spirit has been prompting me to do more.  As we continue to grow in Christ what was good for one level is not good for the next level.  Continue to stay encouraged and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in the midst of your day.  It truly is a day to day walk.
